Fascia is a thin sheath of tissue that covers all our inside parts. It helps our body move softly through all the different shapes we take throughout the day, sitting to standing and everything in-between. But sometimes long runs, hours of sitting, or injury cause fascia to get bound-up or become stiff and brittle, This is when we start to notice nagging aches in our hips, shoulders that don't move like they used to, or legs that feel like they'll never fully straiten.
Stiff and stuck together fascia is what we'll be working in this class. We'll work every part of the body from the head to the toes with two types of balls, a big squishy one for softer areas like our bellies and a pair of tennis ball sized for our stronger parts like shoulders and IT bands. Some moves will make you float and some will make you cry, all will have you feeling the difference immediately.
We provide the balls for you to use in class, plus we'll have a few extra in case you want to purchase some to take home!
