Monday can be tough let us help make them a little easier.
This class is intended to stretch and untangle muscles that are sore leaving you feeling relaxed and able to move more fluidly. Perfect for those newer to yoga who are trying to add regular deep stretching into their fitness.
Warm-Up: Starting with a breath exercise lets you relax and tune-into the body. Your body feels different everyday, understating where you're at in the moment will help you better understand when to push forward or hold back.
Slow Flow: All flow means is to move with the breath, seldom do we have the liquid like movements yogi's on the internet have. We spend this part of class moving to build-up a small sweat that helps it detoxify and lightly stretching to open the body up for the next part.
MFR: (Myofascial Release): Fascia is the gauzy wrapper that encompasses each of your inner parts keeping them separate and helping them slide. Sometimes it sticks together because we don't move parts of our bodies in certain directions (when was the last time you did a backbend?) or because we injured ourselves. This part of class is focused on moving that fascia so that it untangles and lets you move like to did before.
Savasana: The quite time at the end of class is for you. Traditionally it is time set aside to meditate and close your practice, however it can be used just to relax for a few more moments before you head-out the door.
